Get your Fortnite X-Force challenges done, but don’t rush too much. As the X-Force team is as extensive and diverse as the X-Men themselves, here’s hoping we get to see even more X-Force and Marvel additions in the future. Cable and Domino were founding members of the squad, with Deadpool and Psylocke coming along in future iterations, but the X-Force is an awesome addition to the already fun additions that Deadpool has brought along in the spy-themed antics of Season 2. The X-Force bundle is both a nod to the recent popularity of Deadpool’s team in recent movies (in which Cable and Domino made an appearance in Deadpool 2), as well as a nod to the popular team penned in books by artist and Deadpool creator Rob Liefield and Fabian Nicieza. FORTNITE X FORCE SKIN
In week 9 Challenges of Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2, players can track down Deadpool’s “unmentionables” to unlock an X-Force variant of his usual skin as well. Or you can go alone as any one of the characters. Available as of today, Cable, Psylocke, and Domino are showcased in the bundle, and now players can take up their skins to form the X-Force in your Fortnite shenanigans. The X-Force is now joining him in the Fortnite fun with a new X-Force Bundle featuring Cable, Domino, and Psylocke skins.įortnite announced the X-Force Bundle via a new trailer on YouTube and on Twitter on April 17, 2020. There’s no date for the release of the X-Force/ X-Men event but we did get a good idea of what will be coming especially the three X-Force characters that would be joining the game. They’re in Midas’s room in Fortnite HQ, in a chair next to the spymaster.A lot of funsies have been had in Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2 with the addition of Deadpool skins and cosmetics tied to Deadpool-themed challenges and activities, but Deadpool doesn’t always do it alone. To complete Deadpool’s Week 9 challenge, start off by checking in at Deadpool’s computer and picking up your new tasks: finding Deadpool’s shorts and saluting his pants. After all, who doesn’t love a man with the self-confidence to rock ‘80s shoulder pads and the chunky gold X-Men accessories? The skin hit the game during week 7, and week 8 brought us the unmasked variant. Players were looking forward to unlocking him as soon as Season 2 released and they saw that he’d be the secret skin. Deadpool was one of the most anticipated skins in Fortnite.
FORTNITE X FORCE HOW TO
While the characters don’t bear much resemblance to the X-Force that made a brief appearance in Deadpool 2, the Fortnite skins are colorful and clean, harkening back to Domino, Psylocke, and Cable’s classic looks. Purchasing an individual character outfit with their back bling will run a player 1,500 V-Bucks.įans of Deadpool and X-Force in their cinematic and original comic forms will definitely love these new skins. The Psi-Glider and Cable’s Unstoppable Force, the Probability Dagger, and the Psi-Blade harvesting tools are also available for individual purchase for 800 V-Bucks each, with the exception of the Psi-Glider, which costs 1,200 V-Bucks. For 2,500 V-Bucks players can purchase the X-Force Gear Bundle, which includes the characters’ pickaxes and gliders. The X-Force Outfit Bundle goes for 3,000 V-Bucks and rolls together all three characters’ skins and back bling items: Psylocke’s Shirayuki, Domino’s Pack, and Cable’s Cloak.
Players will need to collect Deadpool’s shorts and salute his pants with any emote to unlock his skin, but the other X-Force members’ gear and skins are up for grabs right away in the Item Shop. Accordingly, his X-Force costume in Fortnite is also up for grabs by completing this week’s challenges.
